Kimberly Bakker The Queen Of Event Management

Kimberly Bakker is a mother, and event planner based in California to her, her family moved to California from Missouri in 1848 and has been in the state ever since. During her formative years, she spent most of her summers craw dadding, riding horses as well as inner tubing at their family cattle ranch. It is these experiences that would motivate her to start her event planning businesses.


Kimberly Bakker attended Ross School, Ross Montessori, Santa Catalina, and Redwood. She then proceeded to USU where she graduated with a degree in Public Relations. After she graduated, she had the opportunity to help launch the Sterling Bank & Trust in San Francisco. She previously worked at San Francisco City Hallas a Protocol Officer before quitting to start her event planning company. While working at City Hall, she participated in organizing several events such as the United Nations World Environment Day, in 2005 which inspired her to start her business.


When she quit formal employment, Kimberly Bakker launched Kimberly Bakker Events as a flagship company for organizing events and business consulting.


Bakker notes that planning memorable family events is one of the most rewarding experiences to her. Her career is a business consultant in the areas of quality control, public relations and marketing coupled with her role. As a mother, Kimberly taught herself to be be master multi-tasker and resourceful. She has learnt to live, love, and speak openly. KQB is a company that specializes in memorable, private family events. Its mission is to ensure that dreams come true.

Kimberly Bakker has more than 25 years of experience as a marketing specialist and works to make events memorable for her clients. Through her company, she has brought a smile to hundreds of customers that she has served.


In 2016, Kimberly Bakker founded The Project for Girls. Girls from all walks of life are interviewed to learn about their unique individual needs. Members are encouraged to read about the experiences of other teenage girls as well as write about their own experiences to share. Kimberly lives with her lovely daughter in Ross California. In her spare time, Bakker loves to read books.
